Conjunctions!

This week in BSD we have been exploring conjunctions in picture story books. Conjunctions are words that join or link two sentences together.

Conjunctions are as, while, for, yet, unless, until, if, whether, though, since, when, although, that, and, because, but.

The students shared the following sentences from their readers or picture story book:

While the days went by the greedy bee has not shared. Taneesha

As it flapped past, its wings whispered in the cool night air. Molly

As they sat around the fire Atticuss told everyone about their fight with the dracs. Bailey

If he hurried he will be just in time for rapper zapper. Riley

Kangaroo said, ‘Though I’m big you are still small.’ Sienna

When the greedy bee woke up it was dark. Taneesha

Even if I could I wouldn’t do such a sorry thing. Maisie

They crept down stairs and slipped out into the stare speckled streets. Molly
